Meet Nicole

Welcome!  Let me tell you a bit about myself.

My path towards a career in real estate was a winding one!  In 1996, I graduated from Western Michigan University with intentions of becoming a teacher.  Shortly after graduating, I instead took a job with a residential appraisal company as an office manager.  Within two years, I  began working with a small home remodeling company.  Acting as project manager, I organized the purchase, renovation, and sale of each home we remodeled.  Working side by side with contractors, I learned how to hang sheet rock, to install toilets and how to fix and/or teardown lots of other house "parts."  I enjoyed all aspects of the renovations, but espeically enjoyed the finishing touches of paint & wallpaper, having been blessed with a steady hand for such things!

Selling all these homes was not quite as enjoyable!  Having to list most of these homes with Realtors, I quickly realized that I had a problem on my hands.  I discovered firsthand that not all Realtors are good at communicating, or good at following through on even the simplest task!  So, frustrated with some seemingly incompetent agents, and inspired by a few great ones, I became a Realtor so that I could sell the homes I was responsible for remodeling.  I have been a licensed real estate agent since early 2001.  By the end of that year I realized that I was ready to "retire" from the remodeling business and knew I wanted to sell real estate full time....and here I am today!

I absolutely pride myself on being the type of Realtor I KNOW that you need.  I follow through, go the extra mile, and am always willing to be of service to those that need my help. Taking great care to make sure that every one of my clients walks away from their real estate transaction feeling well represented & knowing they've found a Realtor for life.

I am a believer in education (it's the former teacher in me!), so I am always trying to increase my knowledge of the real estate industry.  Besides having a remodeling background, I have also earned several designations that help me to be a better Realtor.

  •  ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative)  Buyer representation is a relatively new concept in the real estate industry, and I was very eager to learn how to better represent my clients in the purchase of their home.
  •  ePRO - A national designation that recognizes the need for Realtors to become Internet savvy professionals.  Recent technology and the Internet have provided Realtors & you, the client, an avenue unlike any other for making our real estate transactions easier and more efficient.
  • GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute)  This series of classes expands the knowledge base of the real estate professional beyond what licensing requires.  I found these classes to be very beneficial to me as an agent and feel that my clients also benefit from what I learned while seeking this designation.

Whether you're looking to live in the  Rochester, Byron, Pine Island, Stewartville, Kasson, or the Zumbrota area, (Or anywhere else in SE Minnesota!) you'll find I work extensively to help buyers meet their real estate goals.  I help negotiate the best possible deal and search until I find the perfect property. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing the smiles that come with a successful sale or the purchase of a lifetime.

If you are looking to buy a home or would just like to know some more information, feel free to call or Email me.

I look forward to working with you!

Nicole
