Mayo Civic Center - The Mayo Civic Center is southern Minnesota’s – northern Iowa’s largest event center. This contemporary, 120,000 square foot, multi-use facility, annually hosts over 1300 events including conventions, tradeshows, sporting events, concerts, festivals and parties.

The Plummer House - Located on eleven acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, formal gardens, bird trail, quarry, and water tower highlight the features of the park. The grounds are open to the public from sunrise to sunset except when the house is reserved for private functions.

Quarry Hill Nature Center - Enjoy the beauty and habitat of southeastern Minnesota by hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing the meadows, flood plain and upland forests on the 5 miles of trails covering 270 acres.

Mayowood - Mayowood Mansion is the historic home of three generations of the famous Mayo family. The five story stone structure contains 100 rooms in a beautiful rural wooded setting only 3 miles from downtown Rochester.

Soldier's Field Memorial Park - Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial is an impressive 3.5 to 5 million dollar Memorial that was built to honor those who died from injuries sustained in the service and dedicated to all those who served.

Silver Lake Fun - Silver Lake Boat & Bike is complete with seasonal canoe rentals, paddleboat rides, and bike rentals.

Rochester Art Center - The new Rochester Art Center opened in early May, 2004. The new Center brings art outside with the proposed Zumbro Gardens, a terraced park and sculpture lawn stepping down to the waters edge. Permanent collection includes works by such artists as Alexander Calder, Jack Beal, Alex Katz, Louis Nevelson, Philip Pearlstein, Salvador Dali and George Sugarman.

Amish Tours of Harmony - 45 minutes from Rochester. Learn about Amish communities of southern Minnesota.

Historic Lanesboro - Nestled in a deep valley of the Root River, Lanesboro offers tourists invigorating outdoor activities, rich artistic experiences, unique shopping, a local winery, fine dining and lodging to fit every taste and budget. Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo - The greater park area includes picnic area, camp sites, scenic views, and approximately 12 miles of hiking trails.
